GDP growth in Poland leaves Europe far behind. The latest Eurostat data
In the third quarter, economic growth in Poland amounted to 5.2 percent every year. Only three countries can be better in Europe, including Malta. We grow twice as fast as the entire Union.
Even in the second quarter we were on the "unrevised" eighth place in the European Union in terms of economic growth, although it was not small at all, 4.3 percent year-on-year it was not a reason to be ashamed, but acceleration took place across the continent so there was also no special praise.
No shopping on Sunday?
Prime Minister Beata Szydlo took a concrete stand on the trade ban on Sunday. A civic project forged by Solidarność trade unions suggested that every Sunday be free from trade. In the Parliament, MPs were inclined to choose - every second Sunday without shopping. Government officials also officially confirmed that the ban on trade would not enter into force as of January 2018 as initially assumed.
Eggs more expensive then chicken in UE
The rise in egg prices has been observed for almost a month. On the EU market their levels have gone up in relation to poultry meat. Unfortunately, this is not just a domain of the EU market. Also in Poland eggs have definitely gone up. Only in the last week prices have shot up by 10%.
